The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), National Stock Exchange (NSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) Nifty remained shut on May 13, 2021 (Thursday) on the occasion of Id – Ul – Fitr or the Ramzan Eid. Along with this, the share market will be closed for a tenure of 7 days in the month of May. On these particular stock market holidays, there will be no trading happening inside the market.
EID Holiday Date For Both Share Market And Stock Market
Both the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), National Stock Exchange (NSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) Nifty remained shut on May 13, 2021 (Thursday) on the occasion of Eid – Ul – Fitr or the Ramzan Eid in accordance with “Trading Holidays” schedule of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and “Holidays list for the calendar year 2021” according to National Stock Exchange (NSE). The stock market was scheduled to open on Friday, 14 May 2021 again.
List Of Share Market And Stock Market Holidays in May 2021
The share market is to remain shut for as many as seven days in the month of May 2021. Due to Eid – Ul – Fitr or the Ramzan Eid the stock market was scheduled to be closed on May 13, 2021, but other than that the rest of the holidays are mentioned below.
The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE) will remain closed on the following days.

- May 16, 2021: Sunday
- May 22, 2021: Saturday
- May 23, 2021: Sunday
- May 29, 2021: Saturday
- May 30, 2021: Sunday
The stock market on these six days is closed due to weekly holidays.
