LIC India Ltd.

  • Among the upcoming IPO 2021, the premier life and general insurance company of India is preparing to make its huge entry in the stock market before the end of the present fiscal year.
  • According to reports, the LIC (Life Insurance Corporation) of India holds about 69% market share in the insurance sector of this country. Also, the company functions on a fund base of Rs. 290 crores.
  • Once launched, this IPO of LIC will be the largest one to date in the Indian market. Even though the real IPO size has not been made public yet, it is rumored to have an approx valuation of Rs. 45,000 to Rs. 55,000 crores.
  • The value of this initial public offering is predicted to be between Rs. 400 and Rs. 500.
  • This public offering arrives as a part of the disinvestment plans of the Indian Government of Rs. 1.75 lakh crore, which they plan to achieve in the 2021-22 fiscal year. 

Paytm

  • One97 Communications, which is the parent company of digital payment giant Paytm,  is planning an IPO of Rs. 16,600 crores. With this IPO, Paytm is aiming at a $25 billion market valuation.
  • The share prices of Paytm in the gray market have been nearly Rs. 2,500, taking the total valuation of this firm to $19 billion.
  • This IPO will include new issue equity shares and a chance for sale of Rs. 8300 crores each. This is among the new listed companies in NSE 2021. 
  • If the final size of the issue of the IPO of Paytm does not change, it has the potential to be one of the biggest public issues in India to date. It will cross Coal India’s initial public offering that was of Rs. 15,475 crores, which went live in 2010.

BoAt Electronics

  • BoAt which is a consumer electronics manufacturer, is aiming to file a draft red herring prospectus with SEBI for an Initial Public offering of about Rs. 3500 crores.
  • The company is discussing with its lead manager to finalize the details of this activity.
  • Once finalized, this public issue will take the value of BoAt Electronics around Rs. 11,000 crores.

MedPlus

  • A prominent Indian pharmacy retailer, MedPlus Health Services, has filed DRHP with SEBI.
  • This MedPlus IPO is predicted to be worth about Rs. 1600 crores. This IPO will include an offer for sale of about Rs. 1,000 crores, and new issued equity shares worth Rs. 600 crores.
  • The aim of this public issue is meeting the working capital requirements of its subsidiary, Optival.
  • Along with medicines and medical equipment, this firm that is based in Hyderabad also deals in FMCG products.
