Ever since the primary look of Anek movie has been released, fans have been excited to see Ayushman Khurrana in this character. Anek is a thriller film that has been directed by Anubhav Sinha and stars Ayushman Khurrana in the lead role.
Anek Movie: The Ayushman & Anubhav Due Is Back Again
Well, after a long wait the Anek movie trailer was released. For the very first time, the actor will be playing the role of an undercover agent who is set on a mission. It was only now that the makers have released the trailer of this much anticipated movie. This movie marks the second collaboration of Ayushman Khurrana and Anubhav Sinha after the 2019 movie Article 15.
Riveting, gripping, and thrilling, Anek by Anubhav Sinha is ready to take the viewers on a mission of a lifetime. With a great line of cast, stellar performances, and a mysterious and layered storyline, the trailer of the movie leaves a great impact right when it starts and leaves you wanting more.
While this trailer has much to narrate, similar to the previous films of Sinha such as Article 15, Mulk, and Thappad, the audience can expect much more to uncover with time. Talking about the movie, Ayushman Khurrana said,

My character Joshua compelled me to do things I had never done before, both physically and mentally. With the right guidance and training, I gave this role my best shot to bring life to everything Anubhav envisioned for the film.”
Filmmaker Anubhav Sinha said,
“Anek has been my most challenging film so far. It’s based on a topic that’s probably been less spoken of in the county. It re-emphasizes the fact that in spite of being different in our cultures, traditions, and languages, India can rise above and win as a country. Despite all the challenges that came our way, whether it was shooting in difficult terrain or filming during the pandemic, we powered through. I feel a great sense of pride and triumph that we’ve accomplished everything we set out to with this film.”
The Anek movie story is created on the matter of inclusivity of the North Eastern states and Anubhav Sinha who has been selecting sensitive topics for his films of late. Sinha has been acclaimed for the handling of his last several releases such as Mulk, Article 15, and Thappad, and with Anek he prevails to touch upon a problem that has not gotten the attention it should get. Ayushmann who calls his director Anubhav, the real hero of the film during an interview said,
“It was a tough shoot in terms of the place, people, and terrain. It was a very challenging one. The film has been shot in Assam and Meghalaya and most of the cast have been engaged from there as well.”
