Recently some states have made the RT-PCR test mandatory within 72 to 96 hours from the arrival of the train for passengers who are willing to avail of the train for travelling. The Railway Ministry Of India stated that this initiative has been taken to ensure that there is no chaos or hardship for the travellers.
