The vehicle must provide sufficient downforce along with very minimal drag at speeds over 420km/h. The body of the Chiron Super Sport provides huge downforce to meet the uplift and discard the forces that are opposing it. Frank Heyl, who is the Deputy Design Director at Bugatti says,
"The design process was therefore in particular about achieving aerodynamic efficiency."
In the end, the rear of the vehicle has increased by approximately 250mm to capture the airflow to the bodywork even at high speeds. The designers of Bugatti also expanded the diffuser’s cross-section by around 40%.
The nine exhaust air holes that are available on each fender are way more than just a nod to the legendary Bugatti EB 110 Super Sport – they also operate to release the air pressure from the wheel wells at the front. This generates streamlined downforce at the front axle. Along with that additional outlets behind the front wheel bends likewise that help to balance out a load of aerodynamics.
Bugatti formulated a new frame specifically for the Chiron Super Sport’s high speeds and the new aerodynamics. The steering structure and dampers form a more hard connection to the vehicle, which results in tighter steering features and greater stability even at top speed. The engineers have also returned the frame that was electronically controlled, which operates suspension settings in real-time in less than even six milliseconds.

"We tweaked all possible parameters when developing the chassis in order to achieve the best possible setup for performance as well as the unique Bugatti luxury experience."
He further added,
"In comparison to the Chiron Pur Sport, the Chiron Super Sport remains very neutral and quiet even above this in the uppermost speed ranges. This vastly increases the feeling of safety."
